Get involved by “adopting” a two-mile section of highway for a two-year period

Our commercial janitorial service would like you to know a little more about the Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) Program. Volunteer groups have been picking up trash around the Sooner State for over 10 years. AAH is part of the anti-litter campaign which costs the site over $5 million year just to clean up the litter lining our highway system.
Oklahomans can involved by “adopting” a two-mile section of highway for a two-year period where they will pick up the litter at least four times a year. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) provides trash bags, removal of filled bags, ANSI-certified safety vests, temporary warning signs and initial safety training.
Make a difference – volunteer to Adopt-A-Highway Group. Your organization of volunteers will have their section identified by a sign and know they have made a difference.
